In Spring 2016, Holly was commissioned by Aby Rosen to create works for his new hotel 11 Howard in Soho, NY. The concept of the first piece was a ‘talisman’ for the hotel, based on the Greek goddess Minerva, a painting of a woman with large white wings sitting on a wall of gold leaf safeguarding the building and it’s guests.
The second piece is a painting of Minerva’s parents Juno & Jupiter depicted as a peacock and a tiger. Sitting opposite her, silent guardians.

In Spring 2015, Holly was commissioned by Samantha Boardman to create a ballgown for her to wear to the MET Gala. The theme of the ball was ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ and the piece was painted ‘en chinoiserie’, a green backless cape dress with imagery of flying birds representing freedom and happiness amidst golden symbols of heaven and earth.
